SMI – veterinary sutures
Objective: To analyze French market and define business strategy

SMI is the world leader in veterinary sutures. It was facing a drop in sales in France. Analysis showed that cattle rearing is concentrated in a few communes in France, which meant that the number of potential leads was reduced from 13,000 to 400 vets. Marketing strategy was to strengthen collaboration (and budgets) with distribution centers active in these communes.


COMPOSITI – Equestrian accessories (stirrups)
Objective: to analyze the Anglo-Saxon market (UK and Ireland).

COMPOSITI produces a range of stirrups in polymer. The Anglo-Saxon equestrian market is the largest in Europe, far ahead of France and Germany. Analysis revealed a strong attachment to steel stirrups but that certain niche markets, such as children’s and teens’ as well as tourism, are very interested in cheaper, polymorphic stirrups.


Nutricia – baby food
Objective: to organize and manage the portfolio of brands on the Belgian market.

Nutricia is the leader in food for the very young. Faced with competition, Nutricia needed to reinforce its leadership position. After an analysis of the market, the project targeted doctors and parents by developing a classic cycle of promotional material that has already proved its effectiveness. Brand recognition actions were employed to target doctors as preferred advisors.


Colgate Palmolive – FMCG
Objective: to plan and launch the ‘Oral Care’ range on the Belgian market.

Colgate Palmolive is the global leader in the oral hygiene sector. After defining the marketing plan and analyzing the sales figures, the project focused on the development of communication campaigns in line with the global strategy. The campaign used public broadcast channels, TV, point of sale and promotional coupons.


SME X – biomedical
Objective: To finance R&D project

The SME X develops bio-decontamination systems machinery, used in clean rooms environment (biotechnologies, pharmaceutical). inipi manages to obtain 250’000€ to fund new R&D projects.


SME Y – advisory in agro-food sector
Objective: to Finance the e-business strategy.

The SME Y advises companies in the agro-food sector. Inipi manages to receive 20’000€ to finance a new interactive web portal.
